Lightning Rock Celebration
October 19, 2025 @ 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
We warmly invite you to join the community on Sunday, October 19, 2025, for the long-awaited Lightning Rock Celebration. This event honours the formal return of the Lightning Rock site to the Semá:th.
Please join us as we come together to honour and commemorate this historic milestone for the Nation.
Photographers and videographers, in addition to members of local media, will be onsite during the celebration (at the request of Leadership). This is to help us commemorate the event in a respectful manner. All photographers, videographers, and media contacts have been briefed on respectful Longhouse protocol and will be notified in-ceremony for the portions of the ceremony that are NOT permitted to be filmed or photographed.
