Hours: 35 Hours/Week
Term: Contract-based on funding
Rate of Pay: $26/Hour (increased rate based off proper certification)
Reports to: Governance and Natural Resources Team
This is an opportunity to be involved in monitoring and protecting our lands, waters, wildlife, and natural resources while supporting Indigenous knowledge and environmental stewardship. We are looking for individuals interested in taking part in indigenous and environmental monitoring. No previous experience is required but is considered an asset. We encourage all interested community members to apply and help support the protection and sustainability of our traditional territories. Reporting to the SFN Governance and natural resource team the Environmental Monitor will work directly with project partners to ensure traditional land use provide environmental, cultural and archaeological monitoring services to minimize any impact that specific projects may present.
