Hours: 14 hours/week, On-call may be required
Salary Range: $36.46 to $46.70 per hour, based on experience and education
Term: 1-year contract
Reports to: Sumas First Nation General Manager
The Community Recovery Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transition from initial flood response to long term recovery in the areas that make up Sumas First Nation (SFN). This includes working with external organizations and SFN Management to develop and implement a workable plan to guide SFN recovery strategies to assist members, community, and businesses in rebuilding their lives and community as well as provide expertise and consultation to SFN Management and Chief and Council when interpreting data and making decisions regarding the flood recovery plan.
